Il Tartufo in Augsburg

Unfortunately a failure. The visit on Sunday evening was a wrong decision, the 2 points are only for the main course, which was not a highlight either (saltimbocca and ravioli in lobster sauce, which was rather a cream sauce with a lobster note). About the service I can only say: unfriendly, incompetent and just cheeky! As a starter we were really looking forward to a beef carpaccio, which was served carelessly with dried rocket and parmesan wedges. No marinade or the like, but at least there was oil and vinegar à part. The bread basket that came with it came including a shriveled grape (probably from a previous guest, an absurdity in Corona times!) And old dry bread! It would have been easy to briefly fry this in oil and so enhance it. Not the worst, because we had to send the carpaccio back with a heavy heart because it was still frozen! Snippy answer from the waiter: "This is how it belongs and is cut frozen so that it becomes so thin". Well, everyone knows that it is not ice cold, with ice crystals and therefore tasteless and tasteless! It's a cheek to assume that I had no idea about carpaccio, because the good one can't know where I've worked and eaten! No sense of customer service, just roll your eyes - once and never again! To top it off, I have to say that the prices on the website (at the moment) are no longer up-to-date and there are no pizzas either. The restaurant, which is deserted except for us, at the best mealtime speaks to me from the bottom of my heart!

The tables from the restaurant were immaculately cleaned and the armchairs were very comfortable. Quite perfect to still be able to taste a dessert afterwards. There you get both: sympathetic and fast waiters. My husband and I also find the prices completely ok.

Very close to city center. It's a bit hidden so be sure to look fir the sign for this gem with outside garden service as well. I ate indoors as it was a slightly chilly evening. Friendly service with top quality prepared food. Had grilled tuna and another dish with taglierini and Shrimps both excellent! Ambience clean and well decorated Italian taste. Nice spacious toilets!

Quiet location. The food was tasty and served in a friendly manner in a reasonable time. Recommendable!

We came relatively late in the evening and still got a very tasty, fresh meal. We were served very friendly and humorous. Always happy!

Noodles with porcini mushrooms were prepared very carelessly and had nothing to offer in terms of taste. Noodles were cooked to the point and ingredients seemed fresh.

Located away from the hustle and bustle and with a beautiful terrace in the inner courtyard. Very friendly service. The food was delicious, but could have been a little more.

A very attentive, friendly service! The prices vary, but for less money (~ 8 €) you can get very exciting, tasty worlds of taste. The dessert is also of great quality, the choice is sweet as well as milder - both are recommended!

I had a dish of the day ravioli with porcini mushrooms and my friend had gnocchi in butter and sage sauce. It was just fantastic. We have never eaten such good ravioli before !! We have never eaten such good gnocchi either !! A perfect restaurant visit!

Nice courtyard, but could be a little more neat! Waiter very nice but unfortunately with the mask under his chin! Guests come and go without a mask! Nobody wanted contact details from us either! My dish (saltimbocca) was very good, but my friend's spaghetti frutti di mare only tasted like tomato sauce! It's a shame because, as I said, has potential!

A real insider tip in a beautiful location. The outside area is particularly beautiful. Stylish and relaxing at the same time. Delicious food and very charming staff. Gladly again and also very recommendable.

Very bad. The mixed antipasti large size (16.90 euros) ridiculous quantity and of poor quality. School canteen level food.

The professionalism of the waiters is truly great and the restaurant is truly tastefully furnished. No cheap decoration, instead the colors were very nicely coordinated with each other. From my point of view, a visit to the restaurant is consistently recommended. The things I ordered on the menu were nicely arranged and are always served warm.

Parking not found. Food, according to the website, was not offered (no pizza). Portion size rather small and a bit bland taste. The restaurant is nice and very central, but pleasantly quiet.

Poor performance, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms without taste, only plenty of salt and pepper helps, calf's liver served pretty carelessly in thick chunks. The table was not disinfected after the last guests, there was no list for entering the data on climate protection!

Long waiting time despite few guests. No pizza on offer. High prices.

Everything was cold they didn’t ask us if we wanted to pay with cash or with a credit card and they automatically assumed that we wanted to pay with cash although we didn’t want to. In conclusion the food is really mediocre even though it’s not cheap and the consumer service is quite bad.

The best pasta. Fish and meat always in top quality. The truffle dishes are especially recommended. One of my favorite restaurants in Augsburg, with a large, quiet terrace in the middle of the city

A really good Italian restaurant that can do more than just pasta and pizza. Plus extremely friendly staff and fair prices. We can only recommend it!!
